Support Our Mission

Our Story

Established in 1974 by the visionary Late Sr. Amelia Cimolino (SCCG) under the Sisters of Charity, Olavina Halli translates literally to the "Village of Love". Located in Kinya near Mangalore, this haven was built to uplift the marginalized, care for individuals suffering from leprosy, and offer safety to the completely abandoned.

"In every child, a world is born anew. Every human soul deserves to live with dignity, surrounded by love and security."

How We Serve

Home for the Destitute

We provide a loving home, clean clothes, nutritious meals, and emotional care for over 100 residents who have no other support networks or families to lean on.

Senior Citizen Welfare

The majority of our beloved residents are elderly individuals. We ensure they spend their golden years in safety, comfort, and deep mutual companionship.

Healthcare & Rehabilitation

We offer specialized medical support and running treatment units, including ongoing care for historical patients of Hansen's disease (leprosy).

Community Empowerment

Beyond our residential wings, we support localized development by running vocational tailoring classes for young women and managing a local Kindergarten.
